Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 03/08/23

Racing returns to some familiar faces with bumper eight race cards set for Rockhampton racecourse up north and Wyong racecourse in NSW and we come off the back of a pretty all over the show set of meetings where our Wednesday tips and best bets tips got unlucky to not grab any winners so I am determined to hit back hard tomorrow. I have run through both cards extensively and picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day as well as where you can get the best odds for these picks across the horse racing betting sites . There will be a few promotions going around across our betting apps this Wednesday. I have outlined those and highlighted them below the tips as to get an edge on the bookies. It should prove to be a solid Tuesday of racing to kick the week off in a good way and I am keen to get some winners!

Competitive field here but I think that the Clinton Taylor trained Nasha should be afforded every chance here from the low draw, with a dynamic run style and a nice early bounce. She came to the stable earlier this year from Rob Heathcoate and hasn’t put in a bad performance in four outings for the stable with a win and two close placings in four runs. Her last run came here over the 1600m where she did a bit wrong in the run, racing greenly and being caught wide and still had the guts to power home into second. She’s hard fit now and with the big jockey upgrade to Butler, he should have what it takes to sharpen her manners up for this assignment. Go close.

You would imagine that Allhallowtide is going to have a big showing only second up now off a decent 14 week spell for John O’Shea. He resumed at Kembla Grange just over two weeks ago over the 1500m where he was bumped at the start, recovered into fifth and peeled out four wide on the turn to start a huge and eye-catching run home to finish third, beaten a length only. He ran very well in his debut prep when second up and looks to have a lot of class about him. He gets a 3kg claim from Bourke and gets in at just 56kg and maps to park just behind the speed which compliments his run style and will be launching late. Very keen on his chances.
