Racing comes back to Pakenham Synthetic race course and Wyong racecourse for eight and seven race cards respectively and it is Wyong Cup Day already which should make for some exciting listed races. Razors seems to have come back very sharply for Godolphin and rates as one of the best horses at the Wyong race meeting relative to the rest of the field. He scored dominantly first up and then went to the Hawkesbury last time out where Christian Reith couldn’t find a spot for him but once he finally did Razors was flying home. Jmac now gets the ride, hard fit third up and maps to lob into a solid spot on the speed, more than likely wins this race.

Havisham comes back to this track after just the one synthetic run that saw him score well at this track / trip and looks well placed here for the Leek stable. That winning run came two back where he raced off the speed before swinging three wide on the turn and chasing strongly to find the front and get the job done in a bob of the heads. That was in a pretty strong field before stepping out last time at The Valley in this grade and nearly backing up where he had to do heaps of early work and put in a seriously brave effort on the wrong part of the track to place third. He’s hard fit, in form and should look the winner at least some of the way in this.
