Best Tip: Peri Peri Rich #1 Ballarat Synthetic R6

Last time out at Ballarat Synthetic, Peri Peri Rich was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In his last start, Peri Peri Rich was 60kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Cadboll (63.5kg) over 1100m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. Previously, 4th of 8 at Mornington BM58 on April 29, 2024 over 1200m. Loves this track, is yet to finish outside the top 3. Decent record fourth-up too. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

Best Roughie: A Good Yarn #3 Ballarat Synthetic R8

In good form and has strong claims to win on Friday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a BM64 at Hamilton over 1100m. Previously, 2nd of 9 at Werribee BM64 on May 17, 2024 over 1008m. Likes the distance over its career. Tom Madden has had success on board with 2 wins in 8 starts. Good odds to have a crack each-way at PlayUp, ChaseBet or Questbet.
