The track conditions at Geelong are looking good for racing. There's been a lot of rain around Scone recently so the track is a heavy 9 at the moment. Let's get into it!

Stats and Insights

The Geelong course proper is known as a track that gives every horse its chance as the circumference is 2043 metres with a straight distance of 400 metres.
The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
Scone racecourse is known for it's long home straight of 400 metres.
