Before that, Late Arrival finished first at Casterton in a Barrier Trial-Open on July 1, 2024, over 1300m. Has a 50% career win rate so it knows how to win. Likes running at Geelong, among the dangers for sure. Likes dry conditions, rates highly. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
