Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 30/08/24

Here are some of my horse racing best bets at Scone on Friday. I'm heading to Scone for my best bet of the day in Race 1. Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Lulo Rose in Race 8 at Scone. The track conditions at Scone are looking good for racing. Let's get into it! 

In the recent outing for Forrest Gump at Kembla Grange, he came in third, not far behind the leaders. Now that he's fitter, he's got a solid chance of finishing in the top three again. I think Winona Costin knows how to handle Forrest Gump too. Previously, 2nd of 7 at Wyong Mdn on August 4, 2024 over 1200m. Good form on soft tracks, placing in 2 starts thus far. So the Scone track should be suitable on Friday.

I'm a big fan of Lulo Rose in Race 8 at Scone on Friday. On August 9, won over 1005m at Tuncurry, carrying 57kg. That was nice win, so I believe that Lulo Rose can win on Friday as well. Before that, Lulo Rose finished first at Warwick Farm in a Barrier Trial-Maiden on July 26, 2024 over 818m. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1000m. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
