In the opener at Grafton, it looks to be all about Descending Mist, a horse that has been hugely unlucky in its 10 career outings so far.
Finishing second in 4 of its last 5 outings is an indicator of just how unfortunate Descending Mist has been but connections are sticking with it, in the hope it manages to land a return this time around.
High Class Roller is also worth a look in the market but Descending Mist is the hot favourite here for a reason.
The penultimate race on the card here at Grafton is certainly the pick of the bunch, with some excellent horses in the mix, including the mercurial Frappes.
Having finished an agonising second here last time out, unable to hang on over 1600m, this return to 1420m should be the ideal fit and it has won well here previously.
Competition looks strong and there will be plenty of congestion in the field but if Frappes can get up ahead of steam, it is a very good price for both the win and to feature in the placings.
