We have a huge day of racing lined up tomorrow and there are some black type races across Ipswich Racecourse and Rosehill Racecourse with Stakes racing for the Ipswich Cup Day and Mckell Cup day at each track, respectively. I think the straight bat option in the opener has to be Tutta La Vita and the market seems to be backing her in so I would jump on it soon. He raced two weeks ago at this track and got no favours from the draw, being crowded back throughout the run and when he finally weaved a passage late he powered home to just miss the win to Congregation. That form reads very well for this and goes out to 1400m now which he should relish and be extremely hard to beat.

I am baffled by tradition not being shorter in the market than he is. The Cummings trained runner raced here two weeks go over the 1800m and displayed an excellent run style, shifting out from the rail and starting a big run, was held up at a crucial stage but still clocked in a fast ~1.49 min run. That time is the same that the favourite in this race ran when he won last time out, just beating Tradition off there. I think he will roll forward into a much better spot from gate 5 and if he gets it smoother in transit this time he will go over the top of Grebeni I am confident.
