When Fickle is at this track, it usually shines and I think it can do it again. The 1000m should be nice for this runner on Saturday as well. She is yet to finish out of the top 2 over the 1000m trip. In her last race at Caulfield Heath on December 12, it came out on top with a winning margin of 0.3 lengths. It was carrying 60kg and held off Rewards And More (61kg), which was pretty good to watch at $1.35 odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, Fickle finished first at Moonee Valley in a BM70 on November 15, 2024, over 1000m. I think it could make it 3 straight wins.

Defining is back from a spell and I like her first-up record. She’s 1-1-1 in 4 career starts after a break. She’s won over 1200m before. The inside barrier should give her a good chance of getting into the top 3. Also, she usually likes these track conditions and jockey Tyler Schiller has won before on board. An each way bet should be right way to go.
