The Kembla Grange track is rated a heavy 10 for racing on Thursday so it's advisable to back runners that have a good history in heavy conditions. Let's get into it!

Into You has finished 5th in back-to-back runs, but it hasn’t been far off. So I like its chances of bouncing back with a win in Thursday’s race at Ballarat. It has won before at this track and also at the distance. So that bodes well for this race. Should enjoy running third-up too, has won before when it was last third-up.

On September 21 at Newcastle in a BM68 over 1300m, Fugitiva started slow and finished 6th out of 9, while carrying 57kg at $6.00 odds. Previously, 1st of 9 at Kembla Grange Cls 1 on August 31, 2024 over 1200m. So I think that’s a better guide for this race at the same track. It seems to enjoy racing at Kembla with 3 placings and a win in 4 starts. Also won at Hawkesbury in its last race on a heavy track and the heavy conditions should suit on Thursday.
