Resuming on Thursday. Last start, Mansiere was 6th of 13 at Bendigo on April 13 over 1300m on a good track, 4.0 lengths behind Brazen Lady (56.5kg) with 56.5kg at $4.60. But it should improve here. Previously, 2nd of 10 at Sandown-Lakeside BM70 on March 27, 2024 over 1200m. Sale stats are excellent, having not finished outside the top 3 yet. Plenty of winning form on wet tracks. Previously has had plenty of success when it's running third-up, so just another reason to get on board.

Stats and Insights

When racing at Sale Racecourse specifically out of the 1000m and 1200m chutes the course features a long straight followed by a large sweeping turn which means runners that draw outside of barrier 10 are disadvantaged by at least a length.
The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
Sale is a soft 7 track on Thursday and the track rail is out 4m.
