Racing kicks on this Thursday off the back of what was a great set of meetings in the midweeks with our free horse racing tips going very nicely and our best bets tips going well too with the best bet of the day getting up but overall it was just a great day with 4/6 of our bets winning, two at each track. I like the look of the Clisby stable’s Big Shooter who has had three runs to kick his career off and has looked very sharp in two of them before doing too much early work last time out at Kembla and fading late. The two runs before have both been at this track where he has overcome wide runs to power home into the placings in both and now gets a big claim, comes in nicely weighted with hard fitness and a better draw. I think he is ready to win.

There’s a bunch of unraced characters here who do look very smart but it isn’t enough to steer me away from Zebedee Springs for Patrick Payne who looks like an astutely placed horse for the stable and ready to fire third up here. He debuted at Moe when bouncing to the front of the run and only finding one better in the last 50m when fighting hard to the line before stepping out at Coleraine last time where he found the lead at the 200m, driving through a big field but was just outgunned late again to fall into third. He comes into this with a good draw to suit his front running style and now with hard fitness third up he should go well here.
