Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 22/06/23

A bunch of exciting racing on the horizon for tomorrow across Australia at Sale Racecourse and Gosford Racecourse amongst Mackay and Pinjarra racecourses as well and we go into this card off the back of a super solid day of midweek racing looking to pick up even more winners this Thursday. I am very keen on the prospects of the Waterhouse and Bott trained two year old Sicilian who is having her third start overall and first this campaign after a feature in the LONHRO PLATE at Randwick in the Summer where he placed second and has run in two trials since, looking very sharp in both of them. The stable is absolutely flying with their juveniles and whilst this does look like a quite a strong maiden Tim Clark looks to slide forward easily, the times have been very good so far and if we see any rain on the track it will only aid his chances based on the way he ran in the Heavy at Randwick in Listed grade back in February.

The Matt Brown trained Quindi Pensi looks to be very close to a win third up here off the back of a massively improved second up run at Moe last time out where set third on the rail before angling out and powering home to just find one better inside the last 50m but it was a brave run, he clocked good late splits and looks to improve even more now third up and hard fit. He gets in with just 53kg on his back with the claim from Deane and I think as he isn’t buried too far back in the run he will have his chance at them late. Very keen at the price.
