I like the look of Miss Uchitel in Race 9 at Grafton on Tuesday. Previously won at Lismore over 1320m, carrying 59kg. That was a really good win, so I think Miss Uchitel should be tough to beat on Tuesday too. Andrew Mallyon is back in the saddle after that win and looking to build some more winning momentum with Miss Uchitel. The distance should be fine, it has placed before over 1400m. The only query is no wins from 2 starts when it’s second-up but I don’t see much competition in this race as Miss Uchitel is the comfortable favourite at the moment.

In its last race on September 9 at Grafton, he surged to the front, winning by 3.3 lengths. He carried 57kg and managed to beat Procyon Miss (56kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $2.80 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Frappes finished first at Grafton in a BM58 on August 20, 2024 over 1610m. Has been good before when it's first-up. Loves this track too with 3 wins in 9 starts. I think it's a real genuine each way chance.
