Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Lucky Compass in Race 5 at Ballarat Synthetic. The conditions at Ballarat Synthetic are looking nice for racing with a good 3 rating. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Krementz #5 Ballarat Synthetic R2

Just finished behind the places in it's last start, finishing 4th at 8 on June 15. So I think it can improve after that run and should be fitter here. Previously, 6th of 11 at Caulfield BM70 on May 11, 2024 over 1400m. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Tuesday. Loves dry conditions, the track at Ballarat Synthetic should be nice. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now.

Best Roughie: Lucky Compass #8 Ballarat Synthetic R5

Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 8 in the BM64 at Ballarat Synthetic on June 25. That race was over 1500m on a synthetic track and it came in 4.8 lengths behind James The Great (60kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Previously, 3rd of 8 at Ballarat Synthetic BM64 on June 14, 2024 over 1500m. Ballarat Synthetic stats are excellent, having not finished outside the top 3 yet. Very good stats when its racing at this 1500m distance. Good stats when it's second-up. Have a punt each-way.

  • At Ballarat Synthetic, inside barriers can be an advantage for several distances between 1400 to 2200m.
