Last time on the track, it placed 3rd out of 10 in the Open at Nowra on December 15. That race was on a good track and it came in 1.0 lengths behind Hollywood Hero (61kg). Should be in the mix. Previously, 4th of 16 at Kembla Grange Cls 3 on November 23, 2024 over 1400m. The thing I like about this horse is his third-up record. He’s won both times when he has been third-up before. So he usually needs a few runs under his belt to reach peak fitness. That should suit him nicely on Tuesday.

Afterboomer had a tough run last start but I think he can bounce back on Tuesday. He’s back from a 9 month spell and doesn’t mind running fresh. He has placed before first-up. The distance of 1200m seems to be a nice trip for him as he’s come 2nd twice in 2 career starts. The track conditions should suit him too. So I think he can run a place or get the win.
