Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Mr Magnus at Flemington in Race 8. The track conditions at Canterbury are looking good for racing, the track is a good 4 at this stage. The track at Flemington is looking in good condition as well, it's rated a good 4 for race day on Wednesday. Let's get into it!

Last race at Randwick, Lady Extreme was right up there in the finish, just placing second. He showed some speed and battled on fairly well. In this race, I think it's got another suitable draw, which should make it tough to beat. In its last start, Lady Extreme (55.5kg) and ended up placing 2nd, just behind Zoubaby (55kg) over 1200m and was right up there. That should be a good form guide for this race and I think it could easily get the win this time. Previously, 2nd of 8 at Canterbury BM72 on November 29, 2024 over 1100m. Looking at its track record, I like the trend of winning form when it is racing here. Seems to love this distance with a good career record. A lot of winning form on dry tracks, the Canterbury track should suit it nicely. Currently in excellent racing form, definitely the one to watch in this race.

Last run, it finished 3rd at Caulfield Heath over 1000m. Should be right in the thick of things. Previously, 3rd of 12 at Pakenham BM58 on May 9, 2024 over 1200m. Loves dry conditions, the track at Flemington should be nice. In fantastic form and I hope that the momentum keeps on going. Good odds for an each way bet to end the Flemington New Year meeting.
