So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, Wings Of Desire finished first at Hawkesbury in a Mdn on July 21, 2024, over 1100m. Loves dry conditions, the track at Randwick-Kensington should be nice. Should enjoy running first-up as has been the case in its career.

The 1 and 9 barriers have both won 13.2% of races since 2017 at the Randwick Kensington track.

When racing at Sale Racecourse specifically out of the 1000m and 1200m chutes the course features a long straight followed by a large sweeping turn which means runners that draw outside of barrier 10 are disadvantaged by at least a length.

The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
