At Sandown, the track is rated a heavy 8 at this stage so look for runners that like to run in wet conditions. Let's get into it!

Best Tip: Extreme Love #5 Belmont R4

In its last race on July 18 at Northam, he surged to the front, winning by 0.4 lengths. He carried 56kg and managed to beat Border Force (58.5kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $2.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Extreme Love finished first at Bunbury in a Mdn on July 4, 2024 over 1008m. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1000m. In good form at the moment, so hopefully can get another win.

Best Roughie: Royal Invader #9 Sandown R3

Not in the best form but I think it can improve on Wednesday. It has raced before at this track and came 3rd. Third-up record looks pretty good, has finished second in 2 starts. Also, has placed before on a heavy track and the Sandown conditions should be perfect on Wednesday. With a 46% place career rate, it should be able to finish in the top three, so an each-way bet is the best play.
