2000m: This length race requires passing the finishing post twice. The startingchute for this distance is in the home straight some 285m before the finishing post, after which the curve starts before a short straight and another short curve into the back straight.
2300m: This length race also requires passing the finishing post twice. The start has its own shute. So there is a 485m straight run to the finishing post before a full circuit to complete the race.

For Saturday racedays, parking is available on the Infield Carpark, enter through Gate 2 on Nudgee Road. Disabled access is available from Gate 5 on Hampden Street.
For midweek racedays, the infield car park is NOT available so you will need to park on the streets adjacent to the racecourse.
Train:
Doomben has its own railway station AND railway line, Doomben railway station is a5 minute walk from the racecourse. Catch the train by taking the Doomben line (Roma Street-Central-Fortitude Valley-Bowen Hills-Albion-Wooloowin-Eagle Junction-Clayfield-Hendra-Ascot-Doomben) from any CBD railway station or change services at Eagle Junction for the Doomben line.
