Settat: Settat showed form on December 28 at Cranbourne, placing 2nd out of 8 in a BM64 on a good track, just 1.3 lengths behind Mixxit (60kg) with 58.5kg at $14.00. After that race, I think Settat can potentially improve and possibly get the win this time.

Shoeless: It hit the track on December 28 and Shoeless put in a solid effort, finishing 6th out of 8. Friday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Jackie Beriman on board, that gives me confidence too.

Bob The Horse: In good form and has strong claims to win on Friday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a BM58 at Yarra Glen over 1950m.

Mishika: Mishika showed some form at Wangaratta last time. In its last start, Mishika placed 3rd out of 12 in a BM58 on December 23 over 1590m, on a good track, just 1.8 lengths behind Go Atti Go (60.5kg) with 61kg at $9.00.

Fire Tribe: In its latest run at Wyong Cls 1 on December 21, it held its ground and snagged 4th place out of 9, not too bad.

Rockbarton Flash: In its last race on December 29 at Port Macquarie, he surged to the front, winning by 0.5 lengths. He carried 55kg and managed to beat The Bentley (59kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $1.35 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now.

Ohtani: Last run was a 6th finish at Kembla Grange over 1500m in a BM64. But, I think Ohtani could run well here from barrier 9.

Coastal Groove: On December 14 at Newcastle in a Cls 1 over 1200m, Coastal Groove started slow and finished 7th out of 10, while carrying 58.5kg at $21.00 odds. However, I think this race is more suitable and it should be able to put in a better showing.

Can Do It: Coming off a nice win at Orange over 1000m with Ashley Morgan in the saddle.

Brief Statement: Brief Statement showed form on December 30 at Orange, placing 2nd out of 10 in a BM58 on a good track, just 0.1 lengths behind Can Do It (59kg) with 60.5kg at $4.40.

Roman Miss: Last start, Roman Miss was 5th of 7 at Bathurst on December 23 over 1200m on a good track, 2.0 lengths behind Stupendo (60kg) with 55kg at $2.60. But it should get a better run here.

Chico Casino: Last run, it finished 3rd at Goulburn over 1300m. Should be right in the thick of things.
