Best Exotic Betting Tips of the Day | 23/08/24

The races continue on Friday and Onlyracing is here to give you some free Australian horse racing tips to enjoy. In this one, I'm discussing 3 races and 4 runners per race that I think will finish in the top two.

1st: 10, 2, 5, 6

2nd: 10, 2, 5, 6

Milbrae: I like the look of Milbrae in Race 6 at Geelong on Friday. Previously won at Swan Hill over 1200m, carrying 57kg. That was a really good win, so I think Milbrae should be tough to beat on Friday too. I think its a real genuine each way chance.

Walter Spur: In its last run, this horse finished 5th of 13 at Geelong in a BM64 on July 12, 2024 over 1230m, 2.7 lengths behind Zoupurring (60kg). Solid top 3 record at track, have a crack.

Ceejay: Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Wodonga, it showed us exactly what he's made of. With Tom Prebble in the saddle, its a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again.

Maximum Power: Ready to win now. Finished second last start with Ben Allen on board at Cranbourne. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

Bellalique: Ready to hit peak form now. Came 2nd last start at Geelong with Jordan Childs in the saddle. First-up form looks good.

Powerbound: Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the BM64 at Ballarat Synthetic on July 30. That race was over 1500m on a synthetic track and it came in 0.4 lengths behind Dillinger (61kg). Definitely among the winning chances.

Scoundrel: At Flemington on August 3, Scoundrel finished 5th out of 6, while carrying 60kg at $8.50 odds. Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Friday.

Enzo: At Ballarat Synthetic on August 6, Enzo finished 6th out of 9, while carrying 60.5kg at $6.00 odds. Likes running second-up, good record.

Russian Snitzel: Last time out, this horse made a late surge and finished a close second over 1100m at Canterbury, just behind the winner Cosmonova (59kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. This horse goes on top for me. Likes running first-up.

Everido: Resuming on Friday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. Last start, Everido was 10th of 11 at Wagga on May 3 over 1600m on a good track, 6.0 lengths behind Invincible Spy (58.5kg) with 56.5kg at $13.00. But it should improve here.

Shelly's Ace: Last start, it tried hard but was outgunned, finishing 4th of 9 at Sapphire Coast in a Cls 2 over 1000m, 0.9 lengths behind Fire And Gemstone (54kg). I expect this runner to finish strong and should offer good value odds for punters on Friday. Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Friday.

Pretty Eyed: Resuming on Friday. Last time out, this horse made a late surge and finished a close second over 2125m at Goulburn, just behind the winner Dubai Showgirl (59.5kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat.
