Socially Sassy: Last race was a 3rd place finish at Mornington over 1200m. Should go well again.

Tartan Belle: I'm a big fan of Tartan Belle in Race 8 at Mornington on Friday. On December 6, won over 1200m at Mornington, carrying 56.5kg. That was a solid win, so I believe that Tartan Belle can win on Friday as well.

High Tor: Coming off a decent effort at Mornington, finishing 4th. A strong chance to make up for it here.

Rampazetto: Last race, Rampazetto ran a place (2nd) at Canberra over 1400m with H Van Der Hoven on board, just finishing behind the winner (My Shalom (55kg)). Should get a lot of confidence from that run and should be a good bet again.

Soul Taker: Comes off a 4th place finish at this track over 2000m a few weeks ago. Should be in the mix on Friday too.

More Than Bubbles: Last race, More Than Bubbles was 7th out of 13 at Hawkesbury on December 8 on a soft track over 1600m, 7.3 lengths behind War Star (59kg) with 55.5kg at $14.00. But it should improve here.

Two Aye: In its last run, Two Aye placed 4th at Nowra on December 15 over 1400m, just 2.9 lengths behind Ken'Ker (58.5kg). I think it can run well here too.

Second Sun: Won its last start over 1800m at the Sunshine Coast as the favourite. Gets a good barrier draw that Andrew Mallyon should use to his advantage.

Highland Hill: In good form on the Gold Coast having won last start and placed 2nd before that. Likes these track conditions.

Torovista: Torovista showed some form at Gold Coast Poly last time. In its last start, Torovista placed 3rd out of 8 in a BM58 on December 14 over 2000m, on a synthetic track, just 4.0 lengths behind El Asteroid (60.5kg) with 60kg at $3.90.

Maurizma: Jockey Michael Cahill has won before on board this mare and they should get a good run.
