Another week winds down with some bumper Friday racing at Grafton and there are some excellent horses in the mix, all chasing big wins.

BEST BET - King's Warrior - $2.25
An encouraging debut for King's Warrior, ultimately finishing 4th, has plenty of punters excited about its prospects here. The trip and the ground should suit and provided it can find its stride, it should be one of our best bets of the day.

THE DANGER - Bright The Sun - $5.50
Similarly, Bright The Sun has shown up well in its opening two career outings and this should be a chance to break its maiden. Overcoming King's Warrior could be a tall order but it is a good horse, who should relish the heavier ground.

VALUE BET - Magic Sorcerer - $5.50
Connections will be hoping it is 14th time lucky for Magic Sorcerer, a horse with heaps of potential and near misses thus far. Again, conditions are the key query but it certainly has the staying power to be in the mix.

BEST BET - Pierre Cardinnigan - $3.70
A barnstorming finish saw Pierre Cardinnigan finish 2nd last time out on debut and it looks well placed to snap that streak here. Conditions should suit nicely and with a good run last time out, going one better looks a realistic prospect. 

THE DANGER - Chillcuz - $3.80
Almost the same synopsis can be written for Chillcuz, a horse that has been improving steadily in trials and who too hit the post on debut. It does look to be a two-horse race up front, with Chillcuz the lesser known quanity of the two.

VALUE BET - Kobaytera - $7.50
A trio of third place finishes will be on the mind for Kobatyera and connections here, as they look to finally get the job done. Distance and going shouldn't be an issue, whether it has the pace to live with the market leaders, remains to be seen.

BEST BET - Second Sun - $4.40
Form has been very good from Second Sun of late and it is chasing a second career win here. Having placed in each of its last two races, mood in the camp should be pretty positive and it will be the one to beat here.

THE DANGER - Desert Mist - $5.50
The experienced Desert Mist will be looking to get over the line, having also endured some near misses of late. Conditions may play into its favour over the heavy ground and Desert Mist is one to keep a keen eye on here. 

VALUE BET - Maple Door - $11.00
Winning last time out is a huge tick in the box for Maple Door and it looks excellent value to double up in this one. Obviously, this is a sterner test and the ground presents a challenge but in an open field, Maple Door is not without hope.
