Consistency has been the name of the game for Hudson's Lenny, who has finished in the top 4 in each of its last 4 races and this is another chance to go one better.

By contrast, Pleadeel has been in poor form over the past couple of outings and something needs to change here. It looks to be more than capable in this company though and it certainly has the stamina to be in the mix.

VALUE BET - Monte Kahuna - $5.50
A recent win for Monte Kahuna will give connections confidence and hope ahead of this one and it should be up for the challenge of the 2110m trip. It could be a frenetic affair, something that may end up suiting Monte Kahina.

For a 5-year-old, Sizzling Gal is very experienced and recent results have been excellent. This should be another chance to lay down a marker and connections look to be happy with the recent resurgence.

Two wins from its last 4 outings makes Frappes a serious contender here and it should relish this challenge at Lismore. This one is certainly in tougher company than recent triumphs but Frappes is a quality operator.
