The aptly named Farewell To Eire has been in sublime form since making the switch to Australia from its native Ireland and this should be a big chance to land another win. It looks the part for the opener at the Valley and it is one of our best bets of the day.

THE DANGER - Igotcha - $4.00
Ciaron Maher has been getting a great tune out of Igotcha of late, a horse in fine form that has won its last two outings and this trip here at Moonee Valley should be a great fit, making this a contest of epic proportions.

VALUE BET - Delicous Tycoon - $5.50
With not much form to go off, punters could be wise to go against Delicious Tycoon but it has won races at this level before and when chasing value, this horse has the potential to come good once more.

BEST BET - Fickle - $3.20
Despite not much training pedigree to speak of, Fickle has been a revelation this season for connections and the sky does look to be the limit. This will be a test but there hasn't been a challenge Fickle hasn't relished thus far. 

THE DANGER - Sparkling - $4.00
A couple of quieter results look to have checked the progress of Sparkling a touch but it remains a horse with endless potential and it is still in the early stages of its career. It should run well here at Moonee Valley.

VALUE BET - Nova Lights - $5.00
The Freedman yard have been getting a good tune out of Nova Lights and once again, the opportunity knocks here. It won last time out, is in good form and should be firmly in the mix in a good race.

BEST BET - Tewkesbury - $4.80
One of the in-form horses in the state, Tewkesbury arrives here at Moonee Valley bang in nick. The 2000m+ trip will be a great fit and with the ground set to be good, the market has turned towards Tewkesbury - at a very good price.

THE DANGER - Commander Harry - $7.00
Kiwi flyer Commander Harry is a horse that clearly lacks consistency but it can produce some superb results on occasion and it can never be written off, especially after placing last time out.

VALUE BET - Fiorenot - $7.50
Two wins on the spin propel Fiorenot to the front of our thinking, in this very open race - aside from the strong favourite. This will be a stern test but Fiorenot is in the winning groove and could be tough to stop.
