Pakenham - Race 1 - Vale Billy Price Handicap - 1000m

Selections:
1. Boom Boom Ray - $2.90
6. Majesticity - $3.00
3. Snappy Tycoon - $5.00

BEST BET - Boom Boom Ray - $2.90
The opening race of the day has plenty of candidates here but none jump to the top of the page as much as Boom Boom Ray. It has looked the part in winning already this term and it should be the one to beat.

THE DANGER - Majesticity - $3.00
Despite not being able to back up a debut win last time out, Majesticity should be firmly in the mix here, especially after taking a few weeks away from the track but it will have to hit the ground running.

VALUE BET - Snappy Tycoon - $5.00
Form has been excellent from Snappy Tycoon, with three placings and a win in the last 4 outings. It is well versed over this type of contest and it should also have more than enough pace to compete.

Pakenham - Race 5 - Business It Experts Maiden Plate - 1600m

Selections:
11. Cinch - $2.20
7. Sacrify - $5.50
8. Stynsy - $6.00

BEST BET - Cinch - $2.20
The Hayes clan are in great form and it feels like a matter of when not if Cinch will win its first race. On paper, this looks like the perfect fit and getting of the mark will be top of the agenda in this one.

THE DANGER - Sacrify - $5.50
A similar synopsis can be written for Sacrify, a horse coming out of the Neasham yard that looks to have all the hallmarks of a real competitor over 1600m. The trip and the ground should be a great fit too and it is a decent price.

VALUE BET - Stynsy - $6.00
Kiwi flyer Stynsy didn't pull up too many trees on debut but is highly thought of and should be much better for that run. It has pace to burn and could give the market leaders a run for their money in this one.

Pakenham - Race 7 - Hygain Tracktorque - 1400m

Selections:
5. Hello Mary - $3.50
2. Justaboom - $3.80
4. Kira - $8.50

BEST BET - Hello Mary - $3.50
The mercurial Hello Mary gets another go here, with most bookies and punters finding it hard to predict its next move. On paper, it should be a front runner but anything can happen with this talented horse.

THE DANGER - Justaboom - $3.80
Ciaron Maher puts Justaboom into the mix here, a horse that has found form hard to come by, following an incredible start to its career. This is all about boosting confidence and how a win here would do that for Justaboom.

VALUE BET - Kira - $8.50
Another in-form yard is the Freedman camp and Kira has been in great nick for them in 2024/25. A win and a place this season are hugely encouraging and it looks to be the horse in the best nick in the field - at a good price.
