Now, he's gearing up for his debut at Scone, looking to build on that success. With a win under his belt at Gosford over 1100m and Zac Lloyd in the saddle, he's expected to hang back a bit at the start.

And She Was has been quite the consistent performer, making it into the top four in her last seven races since her last win back in February at Yarra Valley. However, her last outing at Benalla saw her settling into the midfield. It seems she's craving more distance, which she'll get in this race against her own sex. Given her solid form leading up to this event, including placing in 4 out of 6 races at this distance, she's definitely one to watch, especially with Patrick Moloney, who's won 2 out of 6 races with her, in the saddle.

Her track record on softer conditions is promising, with a win and a third-place finish out of 4 races. Additionally, she showed her potential at this distance with a second-place finish back in February at Bendigo. With Jacob Noonan on board and expected to start from the back, Auspirit could be a strong contender in this race.
