Raikoke is first-up on Saturday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. It hit the track on April 13 and Raikoke put in a solid effort, finishing 12 out of 12. Saturday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Jamie Kah on board, that gives me confidence too. Previously, 5th of 19 at Flemington Open on March 2, 2024 over 1200m. Decent win rate in it's career. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1200m. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Moonee Valley.

I like the form of Manaal for Race 6 at Randwick on Saturday. Won at Warwick Farm over 900m on August 12. Before that, Manaal finished first at Warwick Farm in a Barrier Trial-Open on July 26, 2024 over 900m. Decent win rate in it's career. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Saturday. Likes running first-up.

Last run, it finished 3rd at Doomben over 1050m. Should be right in the thick of things. Previously, 1st of 5 at Gold Coast Barrier Trial-Open on July 16, 2024 over 1000m. Very good stats when its racing at this 1200m distance. Good stats when it's second-up. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
