This debutant from the Neasham yard has all the credentials to compete in this one, even if it could be a touch raw at this point. That said, every horse in the race is still on a maiden, so its chances are as strong as any.

THE DANGER - Danny's St Darci - $5.50
The experienced Danny's St Darci is in the hunt here, chasing a much needed win and some recent placings give it more than a shot but it needs to be quick off the mark to have any sort of hope.

VALUE BET - Burning Bell - $9.00
Similarly, Burning Bell isn't in the best of form but it knows how to win races like this, particularly at Eagle Farm and if the field allows, it could give the market leaders the hurry up.

It has been a consistent, if not spectacular season so far for Tavs but a race win here would change that narrative. This horse knows its way around Eagle Farm and with some miles in the legs in recent weeks, it shouldn't be ruled out.

A win and a placing from its last 4 outings are good signs for Bullion Boy, who has been showing a renewed turn of speed in recent weeks, this is a tough contest but Bullion Boy shouldn't be far away.

VALUE BET - Blake Duke - $10.00
Performances and results have been steadily improving for Black Duke, who has been easing its way back into action. This is a proper return to the fold though and it looks ready to step up and compete here.
