Away from the headlines of the Melbourne Cup, the big races continue and there are heaps of excellent horses in action down at the Gardens this Saturday.

Angel Fund hasn't been able to back up its early career promise in recent times but has another chance to put in a performance here. Over the 1100m trip, anything could happen and Angel Fund should go well in this one.

There are some fantastic horses lining up here in the Hot Danish Stakes and Magic Time looks to be the absolute pick of them. A flyer for trainer Graeme Begg, form has been good and it should be the one to catch here.

THE DANGER - Belclare - $3.60
Another Bjorn Baker offering comes to the fore here, as Kiwi flyer Belclare looks to lay down the gauntlet to its rivals. It comes into this one off the back of a win over this distance and it should be bang in the hunt.

VALUE BET - Olentia - $4.80
Chris Waller puts his best foot forward here with Olentia, a horse that has been in good form in both races this season and who could challenge, esepcially if the ground stays firm.

Recent signs have been very good for Territory Express and it starts as the one to beat here in the Five Diamonds. It has pace in its droves and if it gets the chance to get up ahead of steam, it shouldn't be too far away. 

THE DANGER - Attrition - $7.00
Winning last time out looks to be a huge tick in the box for Attrition, who has been picking up plenty of results at this level. This is a big step up though in the Five Diamonds and it should be a real test.

VALUE BET - Lindermann - $9.00
Chris Waller and Joao Moreira team up here, chasing a huge win in the Five Diamonds and Lindermann looks to give them a real shout. Coming into this one fresh off the back of a win, Lindermann could sneak under the radar.
