Following back-to-back placings, Hot Toddy looks an excellent price to finally open its account here. It has come close in most of the 7 races it has featured in and it has been entered into this one to win, making it one of our  best bets of the day.

THE DANGER - Jato - $2.50
Debutant Jato will be out to hit the ground running in this one and it should be in the hunt from the outset. Conditions should be ideal at Wagga and it should relish the 1200m trip, making it one to watch in an intriguing market.

VALUE BET - Divron - $6.50
Whilst it hasn't had too much experience at this level, Divron is a horse that knows how to get around - especially over this distance. It looks quite open away from the market leaders and Divron is certainly the pick of the bunch.

Whilst wins have been hard to come by for Notleanormean of late, it is a horse with endless potential and who should relish the trip here at Wagga. Picking up a win here would boost its profile hugely and it is the one to beat.

THE DANGER - Interventionist - $5.50
Inconsistency continues to blight the performances of Interventionist but that does lend itself to potentially being able to challenge in this one. It has the pace to be bang in the mix over 1600m and it is one to watch.

VALUE BET - Saint Loft - $6.00
Fresh off a big win last time out, Saint Loft will be looking to force its way into the mix here and it certainly has the speed to compete. This is a step up but Saint Loft will be one to keep an eye on as the market develops.
