I also like the look of St Lawrencein Race 8 at Wyong. The track conditions at Flemington are looking good for racing, the track is a good 4 at this stage. I’m backing New York Lustre to get the job done in Race 5 at Flemington on Saturday. She has back to back wins under her belt at Seymour. Her latest win was first-up after a spell over 1000m on a good track. Very good stats when it's racing at this 1000m distance. I think it could be a nice safe bet to get the win.

St Lawrence comes from the quality Maher stable and I think he’s nice value for punters on Saturday. He’s been spelled after a nice prep at the end of last year. That included back to back wins at Randwick in some quality races. He usually eats up this distance with 2 wins in 4 starts. Also, he loves soft track conditions, only falling out of the top 3 in 1 of 8 career starts.
