I love the look of Fangirl in this race. First-up record is impressive, having won 3 times in 7 attempts when resuming. James McDonald has been excellent on this horse, winning 5 times in 7 starts as well. He’s back on board this Saturday. Also loves Randwick. Finished 2nd and 1st in its last races at the track back in Feb/March.

Best Roughie: Jennilala #3 Moonee Valley R7
Jennilala is first-up on Saturday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. Last race at Caulfield, Jennilala was right up there in the finish, just placing second. He showed some speed and battled on fairly well. In this race, I think it's got another suitable draw, which should make it tough to beat. In its last start, Jennilala (54kg) and ended up placing 2nd, just behind Captain Envious (56.5kg) over 2000m, and was right up there. That should be a good form guide for this race and I think it could easily get the win this time. Previously, 6th of 17 at Rosehill Open on March 16, 2024, over 1500m. Loves this track, but is yet to finish outside the top 3.
