Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 13/09/24

Here are some of my horse racing best bets at Geelong on Friday. I'm heading to Geelong for my best bet of the day in Race 3. Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Late Arrival in Race 8 at Geelong. The track conditions at Geelong are looking good for racing, the track is a good 4 at this stage. Let's get into it! 

Grinzinger Sun showed form on August 22 at Sale, placing 2nd out of 10 in a Mdn on a soft track, just 0.2 lengths behind Blackberry Bomb (56kg) with 56kg at $17.00. After that race, I think Grinzinger Sun can potentially improve and possibly get the win this time. Previously, 3rd of 8 at Terang Mdn on April 14, 2024 over 1000m. I think it should be able to run well and win.

Michael Dee was on board the last run and won over 1500m at Geelong. So I think that's a good form guide for Friday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight. Before that, Late Arrival finished first at Casterton in a Barrier Trial-Open on July 1, 2024, over 1300m. Has a 50% career win rate so it knows how to win. Likes running at Geelong, among the dangers for sure. Likes dry conditions, rates highly. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.
