So, it's looking in good touch for this race. Before that, Bat Out Of Hell finished first at Canterbury in a BM72 on November 15, 2024 over 1550m. Not a lot of queries with this one, it should be able to beat this field.

I like the form of Lochlorian at the moment and I think he can challenge this race. He comes off a win at Bendigo on a heavy track over 1300m. Before that he finished 4th at the Valley and 3rd at Sale. With Teodore Nugent in the saddle, these two have placed or won in all 5 career starts. He’s also finished third in his last run when he was third-up. Good value for an each-way punt.
