Best Roughie: Heuristic #5 Flemington R9
In strong form and has good claims to win on Saturday. Last start was an almost win, finishing 2nd in a BM78 over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside. Has enjoyed success in wet conditions and the track conditions should be suitable. Has enjoyed racing third-up in it's career.

Stats and Insights
- It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.
- Flemington's long straight track can sometimes favour horses drawn towards the inside or outside of the track, depending on the rail position and prevailing track conditions. Betting on horses that suit the current track bias can be advantageous.
- The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
