Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 03/08/24

Follow along with me for the best Saturday horse racing tips on race day! Saturday's racing action takes us to Rosehill and Flemington and I have found a best bet for you at betting sites in Australia. There's also a juicy roughie to get on board. I'm heading to Rosehill for my best bet of the day in Race 6. I also like the look of Heuristicin Race 9 at Flemington. At Rosehill, the track is rated a soft 6 at this stage so look for runners that like to run on a soft track. The track is rated a good 5 for racing at Flemington on Saturday. Let's get into it!

Stats and Insights

It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.
Flemington's long straight track can sometimes favour horses drawn towards the inside or outside of the track, depending on the rail position and prevailing track conditions. Betting on horses that suit the current track bias can be advantageous.
The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
