Best Bets of the Day

Check out the free racing tips and best bets for Saturday's racing at Caulfield and Rosehill. I like the look of Growing Empire at Caulfield in Race 6. Meanwhile, my roughie of the day is Mayfair at Rosehill in Race 6. At Caulfield, the track conditions should be nice for race day, it's a good 4 rating at the moment. The track at Rosehill is looking in good condition, it's rated a good 4 for race day on Saturday. Let's get into it!

Growing Empire #1 Caulfield R6

Resuming on Saturday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. I'm a big fan of Growing Empire in Race 6 at Caulfield on Saturday. On April 27, won over 1200m at Morphettville, carrying 57.5kg. That was nice win, so I believe that Growing Empire can win on Saturday as well. Before that, Growing Empire finished first at Moonee Valley in a Open on March 23, 2024 over 1200m. Should enjoy the distance (1200m). Loves dry conditions, the track at Caulfield should be nice.

Best Roughie: Mayfair #6 Rosehill R6

Last run was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win. With Tim Clark on board, this horse should get another favourable run and could get the win again. Before that, Mayfair finished first at Rosehill in a Open on July 20, 2024 over 1200m. Decent win rate percentage, watch it in the straight. Has enjoyed plenty of success at Rosehill with a 100% record of finishing in the top-three, so I like its chances on Saturday. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

Stats and Insights

  • Caulfield Racecourse is a tighter track than Flemington and suits on pacers more until distances past 1600m.
  • It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.
  • The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.

Best Racing Promotions

Promotions and offers are always a great way to get an edge at Aussie betting sites. For this week’s racing, I like the look of ChaseBet and their horse racing promos. They have you covered if you’re after money back bonuses this week. So if you’re runner doesn’t finish first, you may be eligible for a bonus back. This usually applies to every race in Australia during this week so get on board!

I also like racing betting at ChaseBet for other reasons. Such as their odds are really competitive. I’ve found they can offer a lot higher odds and that’s always a big plus for a betting site. There is also a price pump feature that can give you even better odds. So you can potentially make more profit in the long term while using this site. Along with same race multi, exotics, a full form guide, speed maps and more, they’re doing a good job for racing punters.

It’s important to take advantage of promos and offers as soon as possible, since they can change very quickly. Daily promos are available now, take up these offers today!
