Mckeyla is coming off her first career run and it looked solid. She finished 3rd at Pakenham over 1000m. After that run, she was spelled for a couple of months and I think they’ve picked a good race for her first-up. Jockey Patrick Moloney is back in the saddle too after running her on debut so that should help her on Thursday. All in all, I think she has a good shot at her first victory as this field looks fairly weak.

This mare has rarely let punters down thus far in her short career so I think she is worth a punt on Thursday. She comes off a month break since finishing 3rd in a small field at Scone. At the distance of 1000m, she has a nice record with a win and a second in 3 attempts. She also seems to like good track conditions, which suit her nicely at Muswellbrook this Thursday.
