Best Tip: Verdad #8 Flemington R5

Ready to win now. Came 2nd last start at Moonee Valley with Jye McNeil in the saddle. Previously, 2nd of 12 at Caulfield BM84 on October 16, 2024, over 1440m. All in all, he has finished 2nd in 4 straight races, so it is definitely due for a win. I like the weight in this race as he drops 6kg from his last run. J-Mac on board helps too. Seems like it should run well and should be a solid bet for punters.

Best Roughie: Too Darn Discreet #2 Flemington R8

I'm a big fan of Too Darn Discreet in Race 8 at Flemington on Thursday. On October 19, won over 2000m at Caulfield, carrying 58kg. That was a solid win, so I believe that Too Darn Discreet could win on Thursday as well. Before that, Too Darn Discreet finished first at Flemington on October 5, 2024, over 1600m. Decent win rate in her career. Previously, this runner has loved running at this track and I think the conditions should suit it again. I think it's a real genuine each way chance.
