Billy Bones debuted with a minor placing at this track last month and I think he can get his first win in this race. I liked his finish in that race as he ran on well. So I think he should enjoy the extra distance this time over 1200m. Jockey Todd Pannell is back on board and looking to continue the momentum from their first race together. Should get a good run from the 6 Barrier and I like the odds to have a crack at the win.

Stats and Insights

Flemington's long straight track can sometimes favour horses drawn towards the inside or outside of the track, depending on the rail position and prevailing track conditions. Betting on horses that suit the current track bias can be advantageous.

Jockey Mark Zahra is one to watch at the track on Tuesday at Flemington Racecourse. He has favourites in Race 1 and Race 6.
