I don’t see anything really getting near Runranirun in this field, it looks pretty weak.

Best Roughie: Storm's Colours #7 Tatura R7
Last race, Storm's Colours was 7th out of 11 at Pakenham Synthetic on August 25 on a synthetic track over 1600m, 10.1 lengths behind Marine Parade (59kg) with 60kg at $9.00. But it should improve here, based on it’s previous form third-up. In it’s career, it’s won 2 of 6 starts when it’s third-up. So it seems to run better when it’s fitter, making it a decent each-way bet this Tuesday.

- The Tatura track has a small straight towards the finish line and a long home turn. So inside barriers usually have an advantage.
- The Muswellbrook track is 2010 metres in circumference and it has a long 400m straight towards the winning post.
- The first 3-4 races in most meetings are called "Maidens" and these races are usually risky and unpredictable. This is because the runners are usually making their debut or have only had a few starts. So it's advisable to stay from these races unless you have a good bankroll.
