Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 04/09/24

Only Racing has you covered for Wednesday's horse racing action at Belmont and Sandown. We have your best bet of the day as well as a cheeky roughie. I'm heading to Belmont for my best bet of the day in Race 3. Also, for my roughie bet, I've got my eye on Lazy Susan in Race 9 at Sandown. The track conditions at Belmont are looking good for racing. The Sandown track is a good 4 at this stage. Let's get into it! 

In its last race on August 26 at Lark Hill, he surged to the front, winning by 3.0 lengths. He carried and managed to beat Deep Speed, which was quite impressive, especially at odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Before that, Lord Shiva finished first at Lark Hill in a Barrier Trial-Restricted 71 on August 12, 2024, over 950m. Belmont stats are excellent, having not finished outside the top 3 yet. Good stats when it's second-up.

Lazy Susan is first-up on Wednesday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. The last run was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win. With Jamie Kah on board, this horse should get another favourable run and could get the win again. Before that, Lazy Susan finished first at Sandown-Lakeside in a BM70 on February 21, 2024 over 1200m. Has enjoyed plenty of success at Sandown with a 100% record of finishing in the top three. Very good stats when it's racing at this 1000m distance. Loves dry conditions, the track at Sandown should be nice. Likes running first-up.
