Fickle: With Jarrod Fry on board last start, won at Warrnambool (1100m). Yet to race third-up but has looked this prep and hopefully that form continues into this race.

Sparkling: It hit the track on October 16 and Sparkling put in a solid effort, finishing 7th out of 11. Friday's race sees some good odds to have a crack, I think. With Michael Dee on board, that gives me confidence too.

Nova Lights: Won at Mornington (1200m) in her last start and has a nice record on good tracks with 2 wins in 4 starts. Also, has won at this distance before and undefeated third-up.

Esseffninety: Last run was a 5th finish at Morphettville Parks over 1000m in a BM62. But, I think Esseffninety could run well here from barrier 2.

Bloomtime: In its recent race at Launceston, Bloomtime came in third, not too far behind 1st and 2nd. After that run, it should have a good chance of running a place in this race. Anthony Darmanin is in good form and should be able to get a good run.

Winning Witness: Last time out, this horse made a late surge and finished a close second over 1420m at Launceston, just behind the winner Mandate (53.5kg). In good form to run a place in this race too.

Rodrick's Secret: With Chloe Wells on board last start, won at Launceston (1400m). So hopefully that form continues into Friday's race. Good record at this distance and has won before at this track.

Ring Of Honour: Had a tough run last start but has looked recently. Also, loves this distance and has enjoyed success at this track. Could bounce back.

Powerful Eagle: The last run for this horse was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win. With Nathan Fazackerley on board, this horse should get another favourable run and could get the win again.

Gunmetal: Last race, Gunmetal was 6th out of 12 at Armidale on October 26 on a soft track over 1300m, 2.0 lengths behind Dodgeball (55kg) with 60.5kg at $4.40. But it should improve here.

Suit Day: He has won before at this track and has a decent record in these types of track conditions.

Pacific Warrior: Pacific Warrior showed some form at Narromine last time. In its last start, Pacific Warrior placed 3rd out of 12 in a BM50 on October 19 over 1600m, on a soft track, just 3.3 lengths behind Cheeky Nugget (56.5kg) with 61.5kg at $7.00.
