Exacta - Moonee Valley - R3
1st: 6, 2, 1, 4
2nd: 6, 2, 1, 4
Under And Over: Resuming on Friday. Last time out at Moonee Valley, Under And Over was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think it's got a more favourable draw, which should give it a better shot. With that advantage, this horse is definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In its last start, Under And Over was 56.5kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Our Cracklin Rosie (55kg) over 1000m after being right in the thick of things around the corner.
Lazy Susan: Last race at Sandown-Hillside, Lazy Susan was right up there in the finish, just placing second. That should be a good form guide for this race and I think it could easily get the win this time.
Flying On A Limb: Flying On A Limb is first-up on Friday. Has won before first-up and also loves the distance with 3 wins in 4 starts. Big danger.
Wakanjeja: In its last run, this horse finished 10th of 11 at Flemington in a BM78 on May 18, 2024 over 1200m, 8.2 lengths behind Niance (57kg). But Wakanjeja is first-up on Friday and has a good record when it has had a spell.
Exacta - Moonee Valley - R7
1st: 9, 12, 7, 10
2nd: 9, 12, 7, 10
Persian Spirit: I like the look of Persian Spirit in Race 7 at Moonee Valley on Friday. Previously won at Geelong over 1125m, carrying 59.5kg. That was a really good win, so I think Persian Spirit should be tough to beat on Friday too.
King West: The last run for this horse was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win.
Sparkling: On September 14 at Flemington in a BM78 over 1100m, Sparkling finished 9th out of 14. But it has a good record at the distance and seems to like soft tracks.
Wolfgang: Wolfgang is first-up on Friday and comes off a trial win at Cranbourne. Won last prep at Doomben and Morphettville.
Exacta - Sunshine Coast - R5
1st: 1, 3, 5, 6
2nd: 1, 3, 5, 6
Badda Boom Baby: Badda Boom Baby showed some form at Sunshine Coast last time. In it's last start, Badda Boom Baby placed 3rd out of 9 in a BM65 on September 15 over 1200m, on a good track, just 2.0 lengths behind Billy's Bro (60.5kg) with 57.5kg at $26.00.
Allumeur: Its last race saw this horse finish 7th of 11 at Doomben in a RST62 over 1110m. However, I think Allumeur can do a better job here from barrier 2.
Araminta: Last race, Araminta was 6th out of 14 at Eagle Farm on September 20 on a good track over 1200m, 3.1 lengths behind Wasted Youth (54.5kg) with 55kg at $6.00. But it should improve here.
Duntroon Lass: In its last race, Duntroon Lass was 4th at Doomben on September 18 over 1350m, just 2.4 lengths behind Aitutaki (60kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field.
