Racing action in Australia continues on Friday and Only Racing Australia is here to help you find some winning bets! We've got some cheeky exotic bets for you in this one from some of the best meetings of the day.
Exacta - Ballarat Synthetic - R6
1st: 1, 2, 3, 4
2nd: 1, 2, 3, 4
Peri Peri Rich: Last time out, he made a late surge and finished a close second over 60kg at 60kg, just behind the winner. Cadboll (63.5kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. He goes on top for me. In winning form, don't look past it.
Lady Dumont: Last start, beat Fayetta (58kg) at Ballarat Synthetic over 1200m at the starting price of $6.50. That was a good win and I like Lady Dumont on Friday too, especially with Rose Hammond on board from barrier 2. Fourth-up should not be a problem for this horse.
Smokey Warrior: In the recent outing for Smokey Warrior at Ballarat Synthetic, he came in third, not far behind the leaders. Now that he's fitter, he's got a solid chance of finishing in the top three again, I think. Jack Hill knows how to handle him too, so don't count him out just yet. I think its a real genuine each way chance.
Hell Of A Trip: Last start, beat Trusting You (59.5kg) at Ballarat Synthetic over 1200m at the starting price of $2.20. That was a good win and I like Hell Of A Trip on Friday too, especially with Beau Mertens on board from barrier 3. In winning form, don't look past it.
Exacta - Ballarat Synthetic - R7
1st: 5, 4, 9, 2
2nd: 5, 4, 9, 2
Dillinger: Last time out, he made a late surge and finished a close second over 58.5kg at 58.5kg, just behind the winner. Khor (58.5kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. He goes on top for me. Likes running second-up, good record.
Queen Of Deels: Last start, beat Kiss Me Ned (59.5kg) at Echuca over 1400m at the starting price of $3.90. That was a good win and I like Queen Of Deels on Friday too, especially with Thomas Stockdale on board from barrier 4. In winning form, don't look past it.
Nordic: On June 14 at Ballarat Synthetic in a BM64 over 1500m, Nordic started slow and finished 6th out of 8, while carrying 57kg at $3.10 odds. Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now.
Allibor: Last start, beat Russian Summer (58.5kg) at Ballarat Synthetic over 1400m at the starting price of $8.00. That was a good win and I like Allibor on Friday too, especially with Anthony Darmanin on board from barrier 12. Loves this track, is yet to finish outside the top 3.
Exacta - Ballarat Synthetic - R8
1st: 2, 7, 1, 3
2nd: 2, 7, 1, 3
Takashima: Previously, it finished 5th of 12 at Ballarat Synthetic in a BM70 on June 18, 2024 over 1200m, 1.5 lengths behind Rosalia (57.5kg). Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Ballarat Synthetic.
Nosie By Nature: Last time out at Murray Bridge Gh, Nosie By Nature was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In his last start, Nosie By Nature was 57kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Everglade (59kg) over 900m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
Coeur De Lyon: Last start, beat Dreamnt Enough (56kg) at Ballarat Synthetic over 1000m at the starting price of $4.80. That was a good win and I like Coeur De Lyon on Friday too, especially with Ms L J Meech on board from barrier 3. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1000m.
A Good Yarn: In good form and has strong claims to win on Friday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a BM64 at Hamilton over 1100m.
