King Neptune: Last start, this horse tried its best but was just not good enough in the end, finishing 4th of 12 at Geelong in an RST64 over 1312m, 2.2 lengths behind Southern Fire (56.5kg). But I'm backing it to get into the top three this time or maybe even get the win for punters on Friday. Fourth-up should not be a problem for this horse. 

Jack Of It: In its last run, this horse finished 7th of 12 at Sandown-Hillside in a BM64 on September 4, 2024 over 1400m, 2.7 lengths behind Boardrider (59.5kg). Looked good first-up and should be even fitter now. 

Sasqualah: At Bendigo on July 25, Sasqualah finished 5th out of 9, while carrying 59.5kg at $3.80 odds.  

Epice Dieu: Last start, beat Makalu (58kg) at Ballarat over 1400m at the starting price of $7.00. That was a good win and I like Epice Dieu on Friday too, especially with Tom Prebble on board from barrier 8. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.

Kodiak Bear: Its last race saw this horse finish 5th of 11 at Warracknabeal in a BM70 over 2015m. However, I think Kodiak Bear can do a better job here from barrier 7. Very good career record in second-up situations. 

Muktamil: The last run was a good one, it had a nice run and beat the field. This horse just knows how to win. With Jamie Mott on board, this horse should get another favourable run and could get the win again.  

Highland Glory: Highland Glory showed some promise at Bendigo last time. In its last start, Highland Glory placed 3rd out of 8 in a BM58 on August 18 over 2400m, on a soft track, just 4.0 lengths behind Anthurium (60kg) with 55.5kg at $3.10.  

Pittsburgh Pirate: Last race, Pittsburgh Pirate was 8th out of 10 at Sandown-Lakeside on August 21 on a good track over 2400m, 7.7 lengths behind Djockovic (58.5kg) with 57.5kg at $6.00. But it should improve here. Very good record at the track, watch out for it on Friday.

Zoe Shark: Last time on the track, it placed 3rd out of 9 in the BM64 at Newcastle on August 29. That race was on a good track and it came in 0.4 lengths behind Penitent (56kg). Should be in the mix. 

Nettles: In its last run, Nettles placed 4th at Warwick Farm on August 27 over 818m, just 8.6 lengths behind Jimmysstar. I think it can run well here too. Likes running second-up, good record. 

I Am Sugoi: In its last run, this horse finished 6th of 12 at Scone in a BM66 on August 30, 2024, over 1000m, 6.7 lengths behind Silencio Porfavor (57kg). Has had success when running second-up, so I like its chances on Friday. 

Sigsworth: Last start, Sigsworth was 9th of 12 at Randwick on August 10 over 1000m on a soft track, 3.1 lengths behind Sir Freddie (54kg) with 54.5kg at $31.00. But it should improve here. Good stats when it's second-up.
