Grassmere Jewel: Grassmere Jewel showed promise at Warrnambool on December 1, finishing 2nd out of 7 in a BM70 on a heavy track, just 4.0 lengths behind Dubai Dancer (55.5kg) with 63.5kg at $3.30. With that run under its belt, Grassmere Jewel is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race.

Vegas Raider: Resuming from a spell on Friday. He has won before first-up, so he likes running after a break. Should enjoy the track conditions and the trip suits.
