Get ready for some racing action around Australia on Friday as we look at the top 3 meetings. We have you covered with 3 exacta bets lined up at Ballarat Synthetic, Sunshine Coast and Canberra.
Exacta - Ballarat Synthetic - R6
1st: 3, 4, 5, 2
2nd: 3, 4, 5, 2
Take The Prize: Coming off a decent effort at Edenhope, finishing 4th behind Zero Inn (56.5kg). A strong chance to make up for it here.
Daiya: Daiya is first-up on Friday. Coming off a decent effort at Cranbourne, finishing 4th behind Black Penn (60kg). A strong chance to make up for it here.
Muppet: Coming off a 4th at Stawell. A strong chance to make up for it here.
Aeecee Supreme: On May 27 at Mornington in a BM58 over 1200m, Aeecee Supreme started slow and finished 6th out of 12, while carrying 59.5kg at $13.00 odds.
Exacta - Sunshine Coast - R5
1st: 3, 5, 6, 9
2nd: 3, 5, 6, 9
Ashfall: In its last race, Ashfall was 4th at Sunshine Coast Inner on May 28 over 1000m, just 1.9 lengths behind One In All. This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field.
Private Tender: He's shown he has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, he’s got a real shot at taking this one.
Release Le Missile: Last start, beat Incessant (58kg) at Sunshine Coast over 1200m at the starting price of $17.00. That was a good win and I like Release Le Missile on Friday too, especially with Cody Collis on board from barrier 8.
Reign Of Power: In the recent outing for Reign Of Power at Sunshine Coast, he came in third, not far behind the leaders. Now that he's fitter, he's got a solid chance of finishing in the top three again, I think. Jake Bayliss knows how to handle him too, so don't count him out just yet.
Exacta - Canberra - R7
1st: 8, 2, 6, 12
2nd: 8, 2, 6, 12
Craving Magic: On June 5 at Sandown-Lakeside in a BM70 over 1400m, Craving Magic started slow and finished 6th out of 8, while carrying 58kg at $21.00 odds.
Love Shuck: Previously, it finished 9th of 12 at Rosehill in a BM72 on June 1, 2024 over 1100m, 12.0 lengths behind Cigar Flick (57.5kg).
Extravagent Lad: He's shown he has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, he’s got a real shot at taking this one.
Get Shafted: Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. With Olivia Chambers in the saddle, he's a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again.
