Racing action in Australia continues on Friday and Only Racing Australia is here to help you find some winning bets! We've got some cheeky exotic bets for you in this one from some of the best meetings of the day.
Exacta - Queanbeyan - R7
1st: 1, 4, 5, 3
2nd: 1, 4, 5, 3
Ruperts Red Rocket: Last time out at Albury, Ruperts Red Rocket was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In his last start, Ruperts Red Rocket was 61.5kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Gundaroo (59kg) over 1175m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
Heavenly Legend: Heavenly Legend is first-up on Friday. Last time this horse hit the track, Heavenly Legend put in a better effort, and that's something to take note of for Friday's race. With Coriah Keatings riding, you know that Heavenly Legend has got a jockey who can handle business.
Good Prize: I like the look of Good Prize in Race 7 at Queanbeyan on Friday. Previously won at Moruya over 1200m, carrying 58.5kg. That was a really good win, so I think Good Prize should be tough to beat on Friday too. I think its a real genuine each way chance.
I'm Not Leaving: In its last race, I'm Not Leaving was 4th at Wagga on June 17 over 1200m, just 3.4 lengths behind You Wish (56.5kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field. Third-up shouldn't be an issue, has looked good this prep.
Exacta - Tamworth - R8
1st: 1, 8, 4, 2
2nd: 1, 8, 4, 2
Great Siege: In good form and has strong claims to win on Friday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a Barrier Trial-Open at Muswellbrook over 800m. Should enjoy the distance (1000m).
Keitany: He's shown he has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, he’s got a real shot at taking this one. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
Koga Ninja: Koga Ninja is first-up on Friday. Coming off a decent effort at Tamworth, finishing 4th behind Pocket Picker (58kg). A strong chance to make up for it here. Very good stats when its racing at this 1000m distance.
Legolas: Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the Cls 1 at Tamworth on June 21. That race was over 1000m on a soft track and it came in 2.8 lengths behind Pocket Picker (58kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Loves the distance and I hope that continues over the 1000m.
Exacta - Mildura - R8
1st: 1, 2, 7, 8
2nd: 1, 2, 7, 8
First Mate: Her last race saw her finish 6th of 15 at Caulfield in a BM84 over 1700m, 4 lengths behind Miss Tarzy carrying 56kg at $11. However, I think First Mate can do a better job here from barrier 9. Has enjoyed plenty of success at Mildura with a 100% record of finishing in the top-three.
New York Hurricane: In his latest run at Sandown-Hillside BM70 on June 19, he held his ground and snagged 4th place out of 13, not too bad.
Blushing Tycoon: Last start, finished 3rd of 12 at Morphettville Parks in a BM78 over 2250m, just 1.6 lengths behind Lake's Folly (57.5kg) carrying 54.5kg at $7.50.
Torranzino: Her last race saw her finish 9th of 11 at Murray Bridge Gh in a BM66 over 2000m, 4 lengths behind Miss Tarzy carrying 56kg at $11. However, I think Torranzino can do a better job here from barrier 16. Has looked good this prep and has enjoyed winning form fourth-up before.
